Possible disruptions from the planned flight schedule on flights to Antalya during the summer season
Due to the extensive infrastructure works being carried out at the airport in Antalya, Turkey, with the aim of a major expansion of the airport, the capacity for landing aircraft is limited and at the same time ground handling is extremely slowed down. Therefore, in the coming period, there will be certain deviations from the planned flight schedule of all airlines that fly to Antalya, including Air Serbia, which during the summer months performs very intensive charter traffic to that popular Turkish destination. During today alone (Sunday, 30 June 2024), a large number of companies recorded delays of two to four hours.
According to the information that the Serbian national airline received from the competent services of the airport in Antalya, this situation should last until the end of the summer season.
Daily, Air Serbia adjusts departure times to the available capacities of the airport in Antalya and is in constant communication with partner travel agencies that are lessees of capacity on the charter flights of the Serbian national airline, to transport passengers in the most efficient way possible.
